HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, but it's confession/venting time! My head is screaming and spinning right now. I'm so happy to be about 80% done with the new Jewelry, scarves and headbands, but I wish I was 100% done especially since I have 2 shows coming up this weekend! The Vintage Clothing & Accessories show in Grayslake, IL and the Bridal Expo, but I still have to put all of these items on the website, so if you want to order something new, you will have to email or call, and I'll email you an invoice for payment.
I'm so upset that I've neglected my ETSY store. I really need to be on top of this! Does anyone else out there have this problem of letting life and facebook stop you from tending to your ETSY store? I'm also upset that I ordered labels about 3 weeks ago, and they have yet to come, so some items this weekend will be sold without labels, and that kind of making me angry, as well as my last order of beads haven't come yet, so tonight I'll probably be up all night, and to top it off I'M SO SLEEPY, and this foggy weather isn't helping at all!
I'm so incredible thankful for my gift, and these opportunities, but I think it's just time for a nap. Then I'll wake up and feel the imaginary sunshine on the FINE JEWELRY FRIDAY! Have a great weekend Gods & Goddesses, I KNOW I WILL! Only to start Potty Training bootcamp with my son on Monday. Talk to you later!

Good Morning Gods & Goddesses. I had a wonderful time this weekend, hanging out with the ladies for Ladies Night, and today I have to admit that I can barely keep my eyes open! Maybe this will help out. Have a wonderful week people!

Fine Jewelry Friday! (Ladies Night)
I'm so excited and frustrated! Tomorrow, I will be volunteering my apartment, and my event planning expertise to a friend of mines. who is throwing a Durex® Girl Talk™ House Party™: Valentine's Day Ed. This is supposed to be a small intimate get together of a few girl friends, that we feel comfortable talking about intimate details around. We took this opportunity and named it LADIES NIGHT. I'm also taking this opportunity to sale my Jewelry (Forever the hustler, lol) With planning an event you always have the worries, Will it be enough food? Will it be enough drinks? Will there be enough chairs? How many people are coming? How many people are bringing guest that don't have any intentions on buying stuff, and they just want to eat up all the food and drink all the drinks? I know I know, but I had to be honest. I'll be so glad when this is all over, and I will be posting pictures, but in the mean time Enjoy the new Jewelry I've posted here, ready to be purchased now!
Live in the Chicago Area, and want to book a home Jewelry Party, and earn FREE or discounted Jewelry contact me at shawnte@theisiscollections.com.

Pull It Together Tuesday! (Ladies Night)
OMG!!!!!
You're probably wondering why I'm so expressive today! Well it all started last night. I haven't had guest other, than my family over in a while, but this weekend a friend of minds is hosting a ladies night in my apartment so I thought, maybe I should clean up a little. So I started washing dishes, gathering things around the house that needed washing, and noticed that, thanks to my husband my counters have grease stuck on them. So I moved the deep fryer placed it on my stove, washed my counters down, and started washing dishes. While doing this, I heard this terrible thud behind me, and as I turned around I see my 5 quart deep fryer falling on the floor and dark brown vegatable oil speckled with old pieces of chicken crumbs splattering all over my kitchen floor, cabinets and walls!
The only words I could utter was Got F&*#@$% Damn! So at 12am last night guess what I was pulling together, and it continues today only my son will be woke, and my husband decided to not go to work today. I wonder how much help I'll get? :-)

Happy pull it together Tuesday, Wordless Wednesday!
I’ve been so busy Gods & Goddesses! I finished up a great event this past weekend, the So Chic Shopping & Spa Extravaganza! (So looking forward to next years!) Now, I’m preparing for the Divas Ball, and with that I had to get my dress, my accessories, and I’m still on the hunt for the perfect Platform no taller than 4inch heels. Oh, and I have to figure out the hair, but so far so good. I have a sale going on;
And today, I have to finish up posting the new items, because I’ve also been busy shopping with my wholesaler, and making new creations. I’ve realized that my ETSY store, has been seriously neglected, and I promise once everything is finalized with my 9 to 5, my ETSY store will be bigger, better and A LOT more active, as well as all other aspects of THE ISIS COLLECTIONS growth.
Also, right now my family is fighting this pesky hurting face, and sore throat bug that’s been going around, but we’ll pull it together!
So, in honor of Wordless Wednesday, I will no longer speak words (for right now) and leave you with this:
15% off all PHONE orders over $25 and free shipping!

It's Fine Jewelry Friday!
On this Fine Jewelry Friday, I am full of so much hope. If you’ve been a steady reader of the Isis…Then and Now Blog, you know that I am a full-time worker striving to be a WAHM. As of yesterday I told my job, that I will no longer be able to work for them full-time, but part-time twice a week only. This lifted so much off of me, I can’t even describe it. All though I wish I didn’t have to work for anyone else at all, I appreciate it. So starting the beginning of the year there will be much more promotion of The Isis Collections Line via World Wide Web, more jewelry being produced, more people being met, more time with my family, more teaching my son, more fun, and more rest (I hope).
If you’re in Chicago, please come out and support myself and my sisterhood The Real Wives of Chicago, at the So Chic Holiday Shopping & Spa Extravaganza Information is below. Tickets are $10 at the door, but if you mention code: marriage you get in for $5. I'll also be working on the Divas Ball Signature Necklace, and getting some much needed rest! Stay true Gods & Goddesses! God is good!
My horscope for today:
You have good reason to feel hopeful about making something happen that you have been working toward for a long time. You sense that you are getting closer to a goal – very close in fact – and you are right. This is a time for celebration. Even if things don’t go exactly as y...ou had hoped. There is still an overwhelming amount of good in what is now unfolding. Don’t despair over any little points that don’t work out precisely as you hoped; what is happening now is the manifestation of exactly what you need, so don’t question it.

Its Pull It Together Tuesday
Happy Pull It Together Tuesday!
You know, this morning I was thinking, I need to pull my husband together! I’m at work, my husband always calls me on my cell phone, but lately he’s been calling me on my work phone, and I’m wondering why? So, when he calls me today, I tell him, why are you calling me on my work phone, call me on my cell phone. You know he hangs up the phone and calls me10 minutes later on my cell… I mean I didn’t mean for him to hang up the phone that instant and call me back!
So because of this, I’ve decided maybe I just have huge communication problems. You think? So in the process of still bettering myself and being positive I’ve been a busy lady. I’m not sure if I’m still so exhausted from the minor surgery I had or because I’m just exhausted, plus I’m pretty sure staying out until 3:30 in the morning at a night club didn’t help much either. I have art shows, and events for the next 5 weekends straight, and praying that I make lots and lots of money! I’m so happy I have all of my sons Halloween items done, but I still need to get the tickets for Mickey Mouse at Rosemont Theatre, and I have to figure out where we’re going to go Trick or Treating.
Anybody else can’t wait until Thanksgiving weekend?

Education Equality Day
Education Equality Day:
A Call to Action on the 55th Anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education
May 16th, 10 a.m., Washington D.C. at the White House Ellipse
On May 17th, 1954, the US Supreme Court ruled unanimously in the case of Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka that “separate educational facilities [for blacks and whites] are inherently unequal.”
55 years later, our government still supports a broken and unequal system of public education. A system that fails to serve poor and minority children and condemns them to a lifetime of limited opportunities.
We cannot wait another year. We cannot stand and watch while our children are denied their rights.
On Saturday, May 16th at 10 a.m. in our nation’s capital, the Education Equality Project will gather thousands of supporters together to demand real equality in public education now.
Our Founders, Signatories, Prominent Leaders, Performers, and Supporters will stand and say: “55 years is too long to wait.” We will tell our leaders that the time to enact real reform in public education is now. The time to give all students the same opportunities is now. The time of waiting is over.
Please join us as we welcome guest speaker, Mrs. Minnijean Brown. Mrs. Brown was one of the nine teenagers who faced down mental and physical abuses and helped to desegregate Little Rock Central High, gaining the recognition as the "Little Rock Nine."
