Thank God is Fine Jewelry Friday! I don’t know about you, but I’ve been noticing a lot of people including celebrities, with rosaries or imitation rosaries adorning their necks lately. Catholics say that wearing Rosaries is sacrilegious. That it is a form of disrespect for the Catholic Religion. They also say that tattoos and hanging rosaries from rearview mirrors are disrespectful as well. I feel that to each it’s on. If you’re catholic and you want to show the world that you are or that you love your God, what’s wrong with that? I’ve seen nuns wear their rosaries on them, are they being disrespectful?
I look at it like this, I bead because its therapeutic, it’s relaxing, and throughout this meditation you create something beautiful. In ancient times, I’m pretty sure this is why women did it as well. This is probably how the Rosary came to be, a reflection of their love for their God.
I’m a believer in God, and in no way trying to offend anyone. This is why I make my imitation Rosaries, not with the traditional 50 beads, but if I get a Custom order for a real rosary and that client wants to wear that rosary, as the merchant that sold that piece to them, I say go right on ahead. Do what it do!
Here at TIC we pay attention and give the people what they want! Introducing TIC’s very own Imitation Rosaries! (Real Custom made Rosaries can be made upon request.) If you like, click here to make an order!
On the homebound this week has been full of pulling my family together as stated in this weeks Together Tuesday. It’s been a rollercoaster ride, but I’m sure Isis and Osiris had to go through a lot before he felt comfortable enough to trust that Isis can rule and support his Kingdom in his physical absence, and to be there for her emotionally and mentally. This will continue out this weekend, while babysitting my new Nephew, Ray J, and relaxing with my loved ones. I leave you with this, how do you express your love?
