Pulled.....

HELLO BLOG WORLD!

I know its been a while.  Still being pulled in every direction, and I promise once I become that stay at home mom, you will hear more from me.  Betwen my business, my 9 to 5 :-(, my husband, my son, my different groups, I'm just not doing a good job with doing me!  I know I'm not alone out there.  Tell me something blog world, how do yo do you?  How do you balance the world?

  1. awwww lady believe me I know how you feel. And you know to be honest there is not a clear cut answer to trying to balance it all. Its hard, and for me personally sometimes I just have to make myself stop and take a breather. I have to force myself to take a break, whether its for 10 minutes, an hour, or if I get lucky an entire day. All of the things that take up our time and energy are always going to be there, but what good are we if we don't take care of ourselves? You have a family and they need you, so remember to make it a priority to take care of your needs too just like you do for everyone else :) And most importantly ask for help if you need it. I know I have an issue with that myself, but it makes all the difference.

  3. Being a mother is one of the most rewarding and sacrificial roles that you will ever play. I don't know much about being a wife but I can also agree that working full time poses another challenge in the balancing act.
The most important thing for me to remember is to live my priorities. It is really easy to feel like you are being pulled in 50 directions but sit down and make a list of your top three to five priorities and schedule your time accordingly.
You can have it all but you have to figure out what is most important and focus on those things. Yes, that will mean letting some others roles that you want to play go but you will also be more focused on what really matters.
Hope that helps, a little. Thanks for posting on http://thebossnetwork.org :)

  4. I know what you mean...I was a single mom for a while and only had to take care of me and my baby. Now I have her and a fiancee to look after..the time just gets away from me. I think blogging and being able to network with other moms like me really helps. I know someone else knows how I feel!!
