It’s usually a reminiscent, melancholy start of the work day for me. In part because, like the majority of the world I have to leave the things I love, and want to do, to go to my 9 to 5 job. In doing this, every morning, Monday thru Friday, I hop on the 147 Outer Drive bus, which drives towards downtown on Lake Shore Drive, and I look out at those Green trees in the summer time, the people running, the mothers getting their early morning exercise pushing their babies in there jogging strollers, and I look at that beautiful sparkling water, and it makes me so sad that I can’t take part in enjoying it up-close instead of from a far. On this day, Thankful Thursday, I’m Thankful for the beautiful Lakefront view I partake in everyday. I may not enjoy it the way I want all the time, but it does help me have wonderful memories of the past and future. Here are some pictures I’ve taken in the last week while on the lake, and some pics of my view from home. Enjoy, and be Thankful!
