Good Morning Gods & Goddesses!
I had a wonderfully busy weekend with vending at the Custer's Last Stand in Evanston, and celebrating Father's Day with my hubby and family, all I want to do is sit in the bed and watch Season 5 of Charmed on DVD which is on the schedule for today, but first I need to talk to you wonderful individuals, and update my inventory, as well as a few other things.
Usually today will be filled with some song that expresses my feeling of the day, but I came across this video of kids entrepreneurs that I wanted to share with you all. Its great, cute and very motivational. TEACH YOUR KIDS TO BE WHATEVER THEY WANT TO BE! Have a great week everyone!

Pull if Together Tuesday (Victorious!)
Continuing with change today on this Pull it Together Tuesday, when I quit my job in order to positively strengthen my marriage, nurture my son, and build my business. I knew that it was a huge step that involved major change in my life, but I had no ideal about the level of change. It is indeed a process that is very challenging to enjoy, but I can honestly say that I am enjoying the struggle, cause I know that the outcome for my family will be nothing but success, because my Father God is guiding me! These obstacles will be Pulled Together and we will be Victors!

This week, I'll be continuing to love my husband, and other family, potty training, registering my big boy FOR PRESCHOOL!!!!! Being active on Etsy, updating the measurement descriptions on the website, putting together this seasons newsletter (if u would like go sign up for our newsletters, click here.), working on my business plan, preparing for this coming weekends Custers Last Stand Arts Festival in Evanston, and getting my purses together for the RWOC Volunteer project at.
Whew! I can't wait til my vacation next week!

Fine Jewelry Friday!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, but it's confession/venting time! My head is screaming and spinning right now. I'm so happy to be about 80% done with the new Jewelry, scarves and headbands, but I wish I was 100% done especially since I have 2 shows coming up this weekend! The Vintage Clothing & Accessories show in Grayslake, IL and the Bridal Expo, but I still have to put all of these items on the website, so if you want to order something new, you will have to email or call, and I'll email you an invoice for payment.
I'm so upset that I've neglected my ETSY store. I really need to be on top of this! Does anyone else out there have this problem of letting life and facebook stop you from tending to your ETSY store? I'm also upset that I ordered labels about 3 weeks ago, and they have yet to come, so some items this weekend will be sold without labels, and that kind of making me angry, as well as my last order of beads haven't come yet, so tonight I'll probably be up all night, and to top it off I'M SO SLEEPY, and this foggy weather isn't helping at all!
I'm so incredible thankful for my gift, and these opportunities, but I think it's just time for a nap. Then I'll wake up and feel the imaginary sunshine on the FINE JEWELRY FRIDAY! Have a great weekend Gods & Goddesses, I KNOW I WILL! Only to start Potty Training bootcamp with my son on Monday. Talk to you later!

Pull It Together Tuesday!!!!!
I’m coming off of a horrific work week last week, followed by break down search for size ll Diva quality shoes in my preparation for the Divas ball, etc., and because of my busy week absolutely missed an entire week of blog postings. I've missed you Gods and Goddesses, and want you to know that you were always on my mind.
So now that those things have been pulled together they are being followed by the frenzy of preparing Thanksgiving dinner, Sneak peeks, Black Friday sales, Cyber Monday Sales, and MORE SHOPPING! Oh yeah, getting my Holiday cards done, buying Birthday gifts for all of my beloved family members that were born SO CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS.
Haaa, the joys of the Holidays! Does anyone else need a vacation? What are your holiday plans!

Happy pull it together Tuesday, Wordless Wednesday!
I’ve been so busy Gods & Goddesses! I finished up a great event this past weekend, the So Chic Shopping & Spa Extravaganza! (So looking forward to next years!) Now, I’m preparing for the Divas Ball, and with that I had to get my dress, my accessories, and I’m still on the hunt for the perfect Platform no taller than 4inch heels. Oh, and I have to figure out the hair, but so far so good. I have a sale going on;
And today, I have to finish up posting the new items, because I’ve also been busy shopping with my wholesaler, and making new creations. I’ve realized that my ETSY store, has been seriously neglected, and I promise once everything is finalized with my 9 to 5, my ETSY store will be bigger, better and A LOT more active, as well as all other aspects of THE ISIS COLLECTIONS growth.
Also, right now my family is fighting this pesky hurting face, and sore throat bug that’s been going around, but we’ll pull it together!
So, in honor of Wordless Wednesday, I will no longer speak words (for right now) and leave you with this:
15% off all PHONE orders over $25 and free shipping!

It's Fine Jewelry Friday!
On this Fine Jewelry Friday, I am full of so much hope. If you’ve been a steady reader of the Isis…Then and Now Blog, you know that I am a full-time worker striving to be a WAHM. As of yesterday I told my job, that I will no longer be able to work for them full-time, but part-time twice a week only. This lifted so much off of me, I can’t even describe it. All though I wish I didn’t have to work for anyone else at all, I appreciate it. So starting the beginning of the year there will be much more promotion of The Isis Collections Line via World Wide Web, more jewelry being produced, more people being met, more time with my family, more teaching my son, more fun, and more rest (I hope).
If you’re in Chicago, please come out and support myself and my sisterhood The Real Wives of Chicago, at the So Chic Holiday Shopping & Spa Extravaganza Information is below. Tickets are $10 at the door, but if you mention code: marriage you get in for $5. I'll also be working on the Divas Ball Signature Necklace, and getting some much needed rest! Stay true Gods & Goddesses! God is good!
My horscope for today:
You have good reason to feel hopeful about making something happen that you have been working toward for a long time. You sense that you are getting closer to a goal – very close in fact – and you are right. This is a time for celebration. Even if things don’t go exactly as y...ou had hoped. There is still an overwhelming amount of good in what is now unfolding. Don’t despair over any little points that don’t work out precisely as you hoped; what is happening now is the manifestation of exactly what you need, so don’t question it.

I'm a Diva!
I am so excited! I think I have finely found a group of women who aren’t all about negativity! I had this feeling that something good was going to come out of going to the 2009 Divas Ball. I met a friendly, fun enthusiastic group of empowered women who just want to show the world how Divinely Inspirational Victoriously Accomplished Sisters they are. I was so tired of inviting people places and them giving me every excuse in the book. We’re all tired! Hell, I got a husband, and a child to take care of, as well as a few other family members here and there. I have a job, and homework to do too. I’m also just as broke as the next person. I got so much sh*% going on that some inconsiderate so called friends don’t even care to even ask about, but you know what I’ve also learned…Its time to move on, be positive. I need to take care of me, before I even start to think about taking care of somebody else. If I’m not happy I can’t make anybody else happy ;-). So on my journey I go, to balls, clubs, and other events with Chicago's Divine Divas and the Real Wives of Chicago. Wish me luck!

About Me...

I'm Shawntelligent, creative, mysterious, amorous, and crazy. I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, sadly an employee, and more. I should be happy I have a job, right! I’m envious of stay at home moms. (I am now a stay at home mom and have been for the last 8 years. I have also decided to accomplish my dream of becoming a therapist. So I am now a graduate student. See the I'm a Student blog post for more details about that.) My husband and I have been married for going on 12 years and we have 2 beautiful, smart, and active sons. I love fashion; I have a B.A in Fine Arts, Fashion Design, but for the time being I am retired at sewing and designing, until I finish school, but I will be making a come back. I love writing and I wanted to start a blog because I've been inspired by so many of the podcast I subscribe to (See my blog list) and listen to on a daily basis, but more so because of a book I read called the Milk Memos (See my Book reviews on the sidebar). Since I'm striving to be a stay at home mom, and a full-time supportive wife (I say full-time because I feel that I'm only part-time because I'm so EXHAUSTED. (I still feel this way to a certain degree. However, I now know the importance of taking care of myself. It is still a process, but my happiness and self esteem takes priority over everything. It is what my family needs). My life has been a little stressed. So I have come to the realization that I need more me time, because of this new found epiphany I enrolled myself into belly dancing which I LOVE, but because of life, belly dancing is on pause for now.(I soooo miss belly dancing). However, I still need MORE me time! What else can I do? How can I express myself and connect with others?
After a little thinking I decided, I know there has to be other women out there that feel the same way I do, and I believe I have useful and entertaining information to share with them and the entire world. I make gorgeous jewelry, dresses, I'm a student, my husband gets on my nerves and is great at the same time, and so does my kids! I know other people would love to hear about!
Here at the Enchanté Collections blog (previously called I'll Do Me AKA The Isis Collections blog)... you will find not only my day to day life situations, thoughts and advice, but also book reviews, poetry, art, current events, entertainment events, venues, and whatever inspires me!
Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts and opinions about the blog, but please understand that these are my thoughts, inspirations, and views. You in no way have to agree with them, but because you chose to view my blog I expect you to respect and take note of my voice.
Enchanté give you life; we nurture and listen to you. Enchanté is all about helping women, adolescents, couples, and families to become inspired, empowered, and successful beings through therapeutic words, beautiful dresses and jewelry designs. So many have so much negativity in their lives, and are so busy with everything and everyone that we don't take the time to tell our inner selves that we are beautiful; that we are worthy.
Our mission is to bring Enchanté to the community, and help inspire people to believe in themselves, know they are deserving of all things good, show the world that they are and just live their best lives. Through empowering words and designs that promote positivity, great fashion, great prices, great guidance, and an aura that brings out the sexy, elegance mystery and GODDESS in you...
